Kevin Pretorius

Kevin has more than 25 years of experience in fixed income markets, interest rate trading and portfolio management. He holds a B.Com in Economics and is a FAIS-approved Key Individual (Categories I, II and IIA).

He began his career in banking, trading interest rate instruments and managing liquidity at Securities Investment Bank and Investec Bank, where he co-headed the proprietary trading desk. In 2003, he co-founded KADD Capital, which grew into one of South Africa’s leading fixed income hedge fund platforms, managing sovereign and credit bonds, repos, money market instruments and derivatives across multiple mandates. Under his leadership, the business earned several industry awards for performance and innovation.
